Why did my credits disappear?
If your credit balance changed unexpectedly, there are several possible reasons.
Credits are used when you create content in 7ART, and your balance can also change when credits are added, refreshed, or expire according to your plan or purchase.
The most common reasons include:
- A generation used credits
- A generation cost more than expected
- Your subscription renewed and your credits refreshed
- Top-up credits reached the end of their availability period
- A failed generation was not completed successfully
Did a generation use the credits?
When you start a generation, the required number of credits is deducted based on the selected:
- Tool
- AI model
- Generation settings
Before creating, 7ART shows the expected credit cost so you can review it before clicking Generate.
If you are unsure where your credits were used, check your credit usage history in your account.
Did a generation fail?
If a generation fails, the credits used for that attempt are restored automatically.
A failed generation is different from a result you simply do not like. If the generation completed successfully but the result was not what you expected, the credits used for that generation are not automatically returned.

Did my subscription just renew?
Your credit balance may change when your subscription renews.
When a new subscription period begins, your included subscription credits refresh according to your selected plan. Any unused subscription credits from the previous billing period do not carry over and expire at the end of that period.
For more information about subscription credit refreshes, see What happens to my credits when my subscription renews?
Did my top-up credits reach the end of their availability period?
Top-up credits are separate from your subscription credits.
If your top-up credits are no longer available, this may be because subscription period

Did a generation cost more than expected?
Generation costs can vary depending on:
- The tool you use
- The AI model you select
- Your generation settings
- The type of content you create
Always check the displayed credit cost before clicking Generate.
